It can also be pronounced "Khosh umadid" as in "Welcome" (to a place).

Welcome in Farsi is "Khosh aamadin" with the first a drawn out and pronounced as "aah" (like you do at the doctor's) so I guess it would be said as "Khosh aahmadin"
